The added gaming space includes 65 new slot machines across 1,240 square feet.

The Hard Rock Casino in Gary, Indiana has expanded its casino floor adding 65 new slot machines across 1,240 square feet of gaming space next to the Fresh Harvest eatery.

The group noted that the additional gaming space enabled it to offer slot machines with the latest technology along with additional room for popular classic games and better sight lines to the casino's live entertainment and music memorabilia displays.

The new games feature larger screens and new themes, added games include Lock It Link and Lucky Drums.

Hard Rock Vice President of Casino Operations, Michael Gaudreau, said: "We incorporated the feedback we received from our guests when making our decisions about the games, as we wanted to include familiar favorites to best utilize the new space and enhance the gaming experience.

"Be sure to stay tuned as we continue to enhance this space in the future."

The casino now offers its guest over 1,700 slot machines and 80 table games. Casino officials noted that the additional space builds on its mission to bring a "Las Vegas entertainment experience" to northwest Indiana.

The Indiana Gaming Commission revealed that in September, the Hard Rock Casino in Indiana, after paying successful bettors, tallied more revenue than any of the other eleven commercial casinos located in the state.

The location first opened on May 14, 2021, and has been the top casino in terms of revenue for twelve months in a row.

The Hard Rock Casino in Indiana was a $300m project that replaced the Majestic Star Casino boats at Gary's Buffington Harbor.
