SportsGrid Network launches on VIDAA Smart TV platform

The platform is available in over 160 countries and is used by several manufacturers including Toshiba.

SportsGrid is a 24-hour streaming network offering several programs targeted to a sports-wagering audience. The company recently announced that it has launched on the VIDAA Smart TV OS & Content Platform.

The VIDAA platform is available in over 160 countries on televisions manufactured by brands such as Hisense, Toshiba, Loewe, Element and others. 

Programming on the platform includes 300 global and local channels that feature movies, TV shows, sports, news, comedy and more. 

The SportsGrid Network will deliver live sports programming and sports wagering coverage to the platform. The streaming video service provides 18 hours of live original programming hosted by a group of on-air personalities, sports and betting experts and guest contributors.

With real-time sports news, data, analytics and statistics, SportsGrid plans to engage sports audiences whenever and wherever with their connected devices.

The company covers se,veral professional sports and provides daily odds, lines, matchups, injury reports, statistics and news across the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, college sports, golf, tennis and soccer. 

SportsGrid Chief Media Officer, Charles Theiss, commented: "We are extremely pleased to join the VIDAA platform – the timing is perfect with the excitement with the upcoming FIFA World Cup Soccer Championship."

Live programming from the network stems from the production facility which is located next to Madison Square Garden in New York City and at the SG Studios and Production hub in Holmdel, New Jersey. 

Theiss continued: "The SportsGrid team will be serving these engaged fans with the odds, lines, and real-time actionable analytics before and during the live games as well."

First established in 2019, VIDAA USA is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia.
