English Premier League expected to become BetRivers' and PlaySugarHouse's top handle-generating soccer league again.

Mattias Stetz, COO at Rush Street Interactive, has welcomed the return of the English Premier Legaue.

After exactly 100 days off due to the coronavirus pandemic, England's top soccer division – widely considered the biggest league in the world – returned with games between Aston Villa vs Sheffield United and Manchester City vs Arsenal.

For Rush Street Interactive, which operates BetRivers.com and PlaySugarHouse.com, expectations suggest US soccer bettors will flock to the league.

Stetz told Gaming America: "It is great to have the English Premier League back in action.

"We expect to see handle on the games today, especially the second one between Man City and Arsenal, two of the top clubs in the league.

"As the weekend rolls around, we are expecting EPL to be our top handle soccer league, as so many games are televised live in the US."

Earlier, BetGenius spoke to Gaming America about the Premier League's resumption, while operators Betway, Kindred Group and Interwetten also discussed the return with Gambling Insider.
