The software and technology company Bet Booth has achieved Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) certification for its sports wagering platform and standalone self-service gaming kiosk.
The GLI-20 and GLI-33 certifications mean that the company has been found in compliance with sports betting industry standards.
Features of the self-service gaming kiosk include utilizing biometric identity verification and electronic payment options, which enable simpler sign-ups and the ability to cash out immediately.
GLI certification enables Bet Booth to meet the compliance requirements of US gaming regulators.
Bet Booth CEO Michael Orlando stated: "I started the design of this kiosk almost five years ago with a drawing on the back of a napkin, so obtaining the GLI certification gives me a great sense of joy and accomplishment.
"This certification cements Bet Booth as a reliable, innovative technology supplier within the US sports betting industry."
Gaming Laboratories International is an internationally recognized independent testing laboratory providing compliance testing, auditing, regulatory advisory and certification services for all forms of regulated gaming, this includes iGaming and sports betting.
Users with government-issued identification can sign up for Bet Booth in less than 30 seconds, and it has been found that the platform and kiosk met all government mandates.
After signing up at a kiosk, users can wager and fund their accounts through the Bet Booth web, iOS and Android applications.
Bet Booth CTO Chris McGarrigle added: "Our platform and kiosk were tested and reviewed against standards established by the global gaming jurisdiction, so this is an amazing achievement by our incredibly talented development team.
"Attaining GLI-20 and GLI-33 certification allows us to focus on our upcoming pilot programs and bring innovation to this market."
Located in Las Vegas, Nevada, Bet Booth was founded in 2019.
