Players who sign up in the state will receive $200 in free bets on launch day.

Although not yet live in Ohio, DraftKings has revealed a pre-launch bonus for customers in the state. Players who sign up before the launch will receive $200 in free bets on launch day.

DraftKings is still pending licensure and regulatory approvals but players can begin signing up in anticipation of the app going live in Ohio.

Five customers who sign up early will be chosen at random to receive a $100,000 free bet on launch day.

The sweepstakes began at 12:00 PM on October 3, 2022 and ends at 11:59 on December 31, 2022.

At the time of entry, however, you'll need to be at least 21 years of age, physically located in the state of Ohio, United States, and have an Online DraftKings Sportsbook account.

To enter, you'll need to create an online DraftKings sportsbook account or log into your existing online DraftKings sportsbook account. All entrants will receive $200 in “free bets” provided by DraftKings.

Sports betting is expected to go live in Ohio in January of 2023, so you'll be able to immediately use your free bet.

Additionally, DraftKings recently opened up two new retail sportsbooks at Tulalip Resort Casino and Quil Ceda Creek Casino in Washington State. The locations feature live in-game sports betting and other engaging wagering options.

DraftKings Senior Director of Retail Sportsbook Operations Michael Kibort said: "Tulalip Resort Casino and Quil Ceda Creek Casino are preeminent entertainment destinations in the Pacific Northwest.

"Our brand-new DraftKings retail sportsbooks at each location will provide sports fans in the area and tourists alike with an unmatched in-person gaming experience."
