The iDecide feature is a first within the global lottery market.

Scientific Games and Groupe FDJ have released iDecide, which is a lottery game enhancement that allows instant scratch card players the choice to expand play through a digital gaming option.

Groupe FDJ operates La Franϛaise des Jeux, France’s National Lottery, while Scientific Games is one of America's foremost lottery firms.

FDJ Executive Vice President Technology and International for FDJ Xavier Etienne said: IDecide easily connects lottery players from an instant scratch card game sold at retail to the digital channel.

“These unique products were strategically developed to connect physical and digital gameplay with a focus on providing a unique digital entertainment experience for players while preserving FDJ’s strong retailer network. There has never been anything like iDecide, it is truly a product of the future for the global lottery industry.”

Scratch cards games that feature iDecide have a QR code for players to scan with their mobile device if they wish to continuing playing through the digital version.

Winners can redeem their prizes at a lottery retailer, regardless of whether they played physical or digital games. Players have the option of redeeming their winnings instantly as well. All digital play results are automatically updated through iDecide.

Scientific Games Senior VP of Global Lottery Product Innovation Jeff Martineck said these features are what sets iDecide apart from other playing options.

He said: “Games featuring iDecide modernize the lottery experience for the consumer. These unique games put the power of choice into the consumer’s hands, moving them seamlessly from retail to digital as they decide how deeply they want to play and win.

“Best of all, iDecide games firmly connect lottery retailers to the digital channel, maximizing revenues and contributions to lottery good cause programs.”
