Marcelo Suhner appointed Crown Gaming México CEO in executive reshuffle
NOVOMATIC also announced Cristian Olejnik will take the reins as CFO.
NOVOMATIC has announced an executive restructure for its Mexican subsidiary, Crown Gaming México. Marcelo Suhner and Cristian Olejnik officially resumed their roles as managing directors, with Suhner being elevated to the role of CEO. Olejnik has been appointed Crown Gaming México’s new CFO.
Suhner joins NOVOMATIC after a lengthy stint with Sulzer, a Swiss technology corporation. Prior to this, he served in various senior executive positions in auditing, finance and general management.
Suhner said, of his new position: “I am honored to assume this new role in the management of Novomatic in Mexico and thrilled to be supported by such a professional team of experts.
“Novomatic gaming technology products and industry solutions are renowned for their premium quality and performance, and I consider it a privilege to be able to assert my own skill set, business experience and commitment to achieve the goals we have set.”
NOVOMATIC hopes Suhner will harness this knowledge of the Mexican market, along with his management skills and entrepreneurial acumen, to advance the company’s LatAm goals.
Olejnik welcomed Suhner’s promotion, commenting: “It is a pleasure to welcome Marcelo, whom I have known for many years, into the NOVOMATIC family and to now work with him and this strong local team to further develop the NOVOMATIC business in Mexico.
In other news concerning this executive reshuffle, general manager Thomas Borgstedt will be stepping down from his role. He will continue to serve in LatAm, moving on to become Novo general manager in Chile.
