Marvin Sanderson will join several AGA committees.

Xpoint CEO and co-founder Marvin Sanderson has joined the American Gaming Association (AGA) Board Of Directors while a number of Xpoint’s C-suite leadership team will man a range of AGA committees and task forces.

He'll represent the geolocation technology industry, a component of the US sports betting, iGaming and gaming industry.

Sanderson commented: "We are very proud to join the AGA and look forward to being active participants across a range of the organization’s interests.

"The AGA is rightly celebrated as the premier membership organization in our primary market, and it is an honor to be sitting alongside so many of our industry peers within the AGA, helping shape the future for us, our partners, and our fellow associated companies."

In late September, Xpoint announced an additional funding round, securing investments from Acies Investments, The Raine Group and SuRo Capital Sports.

This multi-million dollar round of funding is expected to boost the company's support growth in the US, Canada and worldwide.

Sanderson added: "We’re honored to have Acies Investments, The Raine Group, and SuRo Capital Sports join Bettor Capital and Courtside Ventures as investors in Xpoint. This news comes at an exciting stage of our growth and development, and these new funds will serve to accelerate our efforts to service the regulated North American online gambling market."

Xpoint is one of just two geolocation technology vendors to be licensed in New Jersey and announced a partnership with SkillOnNet in June 2022.

Sanderson continued: "These are exciting times for Xpoint. We are now live in both New Jersey and Ontario with multiple partners using Xpoint Verify, our real-money gaming product, to fulfill their geolocation needs."

Xpoint was founded in 2019 and officially unveiled in Las Vegas in 2021.
