Indiana marks the second state in which the app developed by Smarkets is available.

The SBK sportsbook app received approval from the Indiana Gaming Commission to begin operations in the state, marking the second US location for the app developed by Smarkets.

Originally making its debut in 2020, the sportsbook app is now available in Colorado and Indiana.

The company made its move into Colorado via a multi-million dollar partnership with Full House Resort, whose sports betting license at Rising Star casino is responsible for the Indiana launch.

In an effort to celebrate the launch, SBK is offering zero-margin odds on the spread and totals markets for the Thursday night NFL game between the Indianapolis Colts and Denver Broncos.

Smarkets CEO and Founder Jason Trost commented: "We have a lot of momentum as a company right now - the launch in Indiana is just one of many more exciting milestones on the horizon.

"As one of the only smaller, private operators to have successfully launched in the US, I'm thrilled to go live in a second state with SBK."

The Smarkets betting exchange is another product that powers the SBK sports betting app. This exchange provides users with odds and an interface with a community-led social network where users can post bets and follow picks from others.

Trost continued: "We are simply not like other operators; our focus is on providing the best odds possible and in-house product excellence, and we believe this ethos will win out in the long run."

After Smarkets made a deal with Affinity Interactive, SBK is anticipated to go live in Iowa by the end of the year.

Sports bettors located in Indiana can download the app from the iOS App Store or the Play Store for Android.
