DoubleDown Interactive has announced that it will donate $10,000 to the American Cancer Society on October 1, in support of Breast Cancer Awareness month. Players can show their support through a play-to-enter giveaway they can access through DoubleDown Casino.

The company will host 'Spin for Cures' on October 1. The event “offers players the chance to express their enthusiasm for helping the American Cancer Society and to learn more about the organization’s important work.”

DoubleDown CEO Keuk Kim emphasized the company’s commitment to supporting cancer research and said DoubleDown has a long history of supporting the American Cancer Society.

He commented: “Breast Cancer Awareness Month has been an important focus of our charitable outreach efforts for years. This is an issue which resonates with all of us as well as our players, and we are proud to support the American Cancer Society.”

American Cancer Society West Region Executive VP Jeff Klaas noted that successful research has contributed to offering cancer patients “more hope” and commended DoubleDown for its contribution to ongoing research.

Klaas said: “Much progress is being made in the field of breast cancer, giving those receiving a diagnosis even more hope than in the past. The support of DoubleDown Interactive and their players helps ensure the American Cancer Society is able to continue to provide our critical programs and services and to fund cutting-edge breast cancer research.”
