ClutchBet goes live in partnership with Iowa's Q Casino

Dubuque destination's sports bar to be renamed ClutchBet Lounge.

A new sportsbook has arrived in the American market after ClutchBet – a mobile-first offering – went live in the state of Iowa.

The launch was done in partnership with Q Casino in Dubuque, Iowa. The sports bar at the casino – which is one of the naiton’s only community-owned casinos – will be imminently renamed ClutchBet Lounge.  

ClutchBet had been hoping to launch in time for the football season, one of the most consistently active times of year in terms of sports betting handle.  

Thousands of professional and college sporting events – both local and around the world – will be available to users of platform, which can be downloaded in app form or accessed from the website, ClutchBet.com.

The technology powering ClutchBet was developed in house and relies on proprietary technology. It seeks to provide users with a localized experience.

ClutchBet SVP of Operations Jake Francis offered the following comments on the new platform: “Sports fans in Iowa deserve a memorable betting experience and we are thrilled to make our US debut in a state with an incredibly rich sporting history and legion of passionate sports fans.”

Among the promotional offers available upon the launch are a risk-free bet of up to $500, pay out odds of +150 for winning point spread bets on Iowa and Iowa State throughout the season, and a feature on the platform known as ClutchPicks, which will offer elevated odds for multiple sports.

In addition to Q Casino, ClutchBet Lounges can also be found in three other locations across the state: Gary Dolphins Iron Bar in Dubuque; The Leaderboard Sports Bar in North Liberty; and Vine Tavern and Eatery in Iowa City.

ClutchBet is owned by the publicly listed Australian group BlueBet Holdings.
