Paysafe, a leading specialized payments platform, has announced its partnership with ClutchBet, a Denver-based mobile sportsbook. This multi-stage collaboration will see Paysafe’s Skrill USA’s digital wallet and Paysafecash eCash solution facilitate online payments for ClutchBet’s Iowa sportsbook.
Launched last month for the 2022 NFL season, the ClutchBet sportsbook allows Iowans to wager on the NFL and other major North American sporting leagues, as well as international sports. Paysafe will now streamline the payment experience for the sportsbook, having been operational in the Iowan iGaming market since 2020.
ClutchBet’s cashier now features the Skrill USA digital wallet, which Paysafe upgraded in 2021, enabling players to make deposits with an iGaming brand directly from their bank accounts. Bettors can also seamlessly cash out through Skrill, with their winnings available in real-time.
Skrill will allow ClutchBet to accommodate Iowa players’ payment preferences, with digital wallets becoming a favorite among American sports bettors, according to Paysafe research.
High-stakes customers will have access to the Skrill USA VIP player program. This program significantly increases the single transaction limit for instantly funded deposits, depending on Know Your Customer verification.
The Paysafecash eCash solution is also now available for players who prefer wagering with cash. Sports bettors specify the deposit amount, then fulfill the cash payment at thousands of in-store retailers in Iowa and across the US.
Paysafe President of Global Gaming Zak Cutler commented: “We’re delighted to enter the US with the new ClutchBet brand, starting in Iowa, an iGaming market where we have significant experience.
“We share ClutchBet’s player-centric approach and look forward to ensuring the brand’s customers, including VIP players, enjoy a fast and frictionless payments experience whether wagering with our Skrill wallet or Paysafecash.”
Beyond Iowa, ClutchBet has market access agreements for its home state of Colorado plus Indiana and Louisiana, where it hopes to extend the Paysafe partnership.
