Boyd Gaming and Wynn Resorts set for June 4 Nevada return

Boyd Gaming and Wynn Resorts have announced plans to reopen a number Nevada properties on June 4, pending receipt of final regulatory approvals.
Boyd Gaming plans to reopen nine of its properties, including: The Orleans, Gold Coast, Suncoast, Aliante, Cannery, Sam’s Town, Fremont, California and Jokers Wild.
Once reopened, the properties will operate with limited amenities and capacity restrictions in compliance with state and local requirements.
The properties will also operate with a set of protocols aimed at protecting the health and safety of team members and guests.
Keith Smith, president and CEO of Boyd Gaming, said: “By the first week of June, we look forward to having 19 of our 29 properties across the country back in operation, and we are optimistic that we will be able to reopen most of our remaining properties by the end of June.”
Meanwhile, Wynn Resorts plans to reopen all of its Nevada properties next week.
The casino operator also plans to instigate a new health and safety plan, including temperature checks, hand sanitizer stations and increased cleaning schedules.
“We are ready to provide our guests with a full Las Vegas experience with a collection of luxury amenities and unmatched service,” commented Wynn Resorts CEO Matt Maddox.
“At the same time, our extensive health and safety plan, validated by the nation’s leading public health experts, will enable a safe environment for our guests.”
