BetRivers sponsors US National Jai-Alai Championship in Florida

More than 60 players will compete in Miami during a three-day tournament.

BetRivers has signed on to sponsor the third annual United States National Jai-Alai Championship. The three-day tournament will take place from August 19 to August 21 on the fronton at Magic City Jai-Alai in Miami, Florida.

More than 60 jai-alai players from all over the country will compete in both singles and doubles matches to win $25,000 in prize money. The championship will start with amateur players competing in the Masters’s division. Professional matches will run the following day, with final matches occurring on the third day of the tournament.

Magic City Jai-Alai Chief Operating Officer Scott Savin expressed his excitement for the event and said the tournament is among his favorite matchups.

He said: "This is one of my favorite events of the year, to see participants from all over the country compete in this high-stakes championship.

"I'm especially excited to see the thrilling matchup against defending doubles team champions known courtside as Douglas and Benny and opposing doubles brother team, Goixerri and Aratz. Both sets of brothers are residents on the Magic City roster and will showcase among the best playing in the world.”
