UFC generating sports betting interest for Rush Street Interactive

Table tennis remains the most popular sport but UFC is the single league to attract the most wagers.
The return of the UFC has taken centre stage for Rush Street Interactive sportsbooks across Colorado, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Indiana.
While table tennis remains the most popular sport for BetRivers and PlaySugarHouse, UFC recently attracted the most online wagers by league (34% of total bets).
Rush Street Interactive, which operates the two brands, handled more wagers on UFC Fight Night 171 than any other UFC event except UFC 249 and UFC 246.
Mattias Stetz, Rush Street Interactive COO, said: “Last night’s handle was one and a half times the average for an NFL regular-season game.”
There will be more UFC action to come this weekend as the sport hosts its third event in eight days.
Soccer fans will also have a major league to wager on this weekend, as Bundesliga action returns in Germany.
