UrVenue, a hospitality technology solution platform, has announced two senior appointments. Maile Housel will be Head of Product Marketing and Simon Kaltgrad takes over as Director of Guest Services Development and Integration Strategy.
Housel is responsible for driving UrVenue’s overall product strategy, including strategic partnerships, product innovation and marketing. Housel arrives at UrVenue with over 15 years of experience in the entertainment and hospitality industry.
Housel worked as the Director of Strategic Initiatives at MGM Resorts International and was in charge of large-scale growth opportunities. Before joining MGM Resorts, Housel worked with promoters Peter Shapiro and The Bowery Presents, where she managed ticket sales and operations.
She is confident that her career has prepared her for this new role with UrVenue. Housel commented: “With my extensive background in hospitality strategy and entertainment, I look forward to expanding UrVenue's innovative products with our global list of clients."
Meanwhile, Kaltgrad will be responsible for driving new product and feature development for UrVenue's platform. He will also lead integration strategy with partners with a vision of expanding UrVenue's solution capabilities.
Kaltgrad was a co-founder of GoConcierge, a leading concierge platform, until its acquisition in 2017. Following the acquisition, Kaltgrad worked as a consultant and technical advisor for enterprise and startup companies, garnering 25 years of experience in the information technology field.
Kaltgrad commented: “In hospitality, we constantly strive to improve results, exceed expectations and dynamically outperform the competition. We understand the need to do more with less, and I have built my career on driving effective and measurable results while keeping customer satisfaction at its highest level."
