Christian Genetski and Mike Raffensperger will be President and CCO respectively.

FanDuel Group has made two appointments in executive management. This move intends to alter the company's structure to ensure endurance in long-term leadership.

With immediate effect, Christian Genetski has been promoted to the role of President and Mike Raffensperger has been named Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).

Genetski will now oversee all of FanDuel's business development, corporate strategy, partnerships and government affairs units. He will also be responsible for the execution of strategic partnerships and prospective business initiatives.

Previously, Genetski was FanDuel’s Chief Legal Officer for seven years. Here he was instrumental in working with legislators and regulators to unlock sports betting nationwide. He helped build the regulatory framework which enabled FanDuel to become the US’ dominant sportsbook.

Among Genetski’s greatest achievements was his brokering of a deal with the New York State Attorney General. This deal paved the way for New York to legalize and regulate Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS) betting, along with over 20 other states.

Additionally, he secured access partnerships with professional sports franchises, including the NBA, NFL, NHL and PGA TOUR.

Meanwhile, Raffensperger will oversee revenue generation across all FanDuel platforms, including sportsbook and DFS. The CCO role expands Raffensperger's duties to include commercial leadership.

Previously, Raffensperger was FanDuel's Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) for five years, he helped the company surpass competitors in most major markets, despite a lower marketing investment. He implemented an agile customer acquisition strategy and hired disruptive market talent, such as Pat McAfee – a wrestling sports personality who was integral in promoting FanDuel.

They will both report to FanDuel CEO Amy Howe, who commented: “It cannot be overstated how seminal both Christian and Mike have been to not only the success of FanDuel but to the industry more broadly.

"Each helped evolve FanDuel from an innovative upstart to the dominant market leader in sports betting and iGaming. I am delighted to expand their roles as we continue."
