Betsson Group, a global online sportsbook, has announced that Brazilian football icon Zé Roberto will be its newest brand ambassador. Zé Roberto, who boasts an illustrious career in soccer leagues worldwide, has signed a three-year contract with Betsson. This partnership aims to broaden the company’s appeal in Latin America.
In his new position as Betsson ambassador, Zé Roberto will post promotional social media posts, attend face-to-face activities such as events, photo shoots, and attend meet-and-greets with fans. Zé Roberto used social media to reveal his new role through the video ‘Multiverse of Zé Roberto’.
The company believes Zé Roberto epitomizes its philosophy of extreme discipline and passion. The player won accolades playing for some of the biggest clubs in the world, including Real Madrid, before he hung up his boots and retired at the age of 43.
He is iconic among Brazilian soccer fans, earning his reputation in the nation’s Campeonato Brasileiro Série A during his early career as well as garnering 84 caps for the Brazilian national team.
Roberto also won accolades in major European leagues, lifting the La Liga trophy with Real Madrid and earning four Bundesliga titles and a Champions League medal with Bayern Munich.
