He will serve on both the Audit Committee and the Nominating & Governance Committee.

Gambling.com Group Limited has named Michael Quartieri as its newest Board of Directors member. Quartieri’s appointment will take effect immediately.

Part of his responsibilities will include serving as a member on the company’s Nominating & Governance Committee and on its Audit Committee.

Quartieri earned two degrees from the University of Southern California. He holds a Master of Accounting and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.

Throughout his career, Quartieri has held several executive positions. Since January 2022, he has worked as the Chief Financial Officer of Dave & Buster’s Entertainment, Inc. He also held a position as Scientific Games’ Executive Vice President from 2015 to 2020.

Gambling.com Group CEO and Co-Founder Charles Gillespie said: “Michael brings an exceptional track record to Gambling.com Group and is a renowned and highly respected executive within the gaming and entertainment industry, as well as among institutional investors and analysts.

“His broad business acumen in operations, mergers and acquisitions, international business, capital formation, and investor relations will be a great asset to our Board of Directors.”

Gambling.com Group was founded in 2006 and has offices in the United States, Ireland and Malta. The company recently started providing marketing services in the Canadian province of Ontario for licensed online sports betting and iGaming operators, in preparation for the province’s commercial market launch.

Since entering the Ontario market, the group released OntarioBets.com, a free-to-use website that will give players access to legal online sportsbooks, casinos and current information regarding gambling in the province.

During the first of the year, the company also had successful launches in New York and Louisiana.

Quartieri took a moment to comment about his excitement to join the board.

“I am excited for the opportunity to join Gambling.com Group's board of directors and work with the management team as the company continues its growth as a leader in performance marketing for online gambling," Quartieri said.

"Charles, along with his Co-Founder and COO Kevin McCrystle, has built a successful international business that is well positioned to take advantage of one of the largest US growth opportunities today – regulated online sports betting and iGaming."
