The app allows for the quick implementation of cashless gaming technology.

Acres Manufacturing Company announced the introduction of Cashless Casino, a new app that will allow operators to run the industry’s premium cashless gaming and loyalty solutions.

This app allows customers to receive loyalty solutions within 15 weeks of order, processes both real-time gaming data, and conducts cashless transfers from any slot machine or table game. It utilizes Acres’ Foundation technology.

Acres want a more intuitive adoption of cashless gaming technology. It believes this will set the stage for the option of a completely cashless casino gaming floor within a few years which will eliminate cash handling expenses.

Cashless Casino will work on any slot machine or table game connected to casino management systems (CMS) including IGT, Konami and Light & Wonder. Foundation tech processes the entire machine event stream in real time, resulting in over a thousand times more data being provided to casinos.

Acres hopes that all casinos will be able to migrate their CMS functionality to Foundation and remove legacy CMS’ without any disruption to their loyalty, reporting or analytics programs, resulting in millions of dollars saved annually in hardware and maintenance fees.

Acres Gaming Operations and Marketing Manager John Acres commented: “Early deployments of Foundation cashless gaming have proven that cashless players increase their play and visitation. As a result, casino operators are increasingly expressing wide-scale interest in deploying cashless gaming technology.”

He points out that legacy CMS technologies have limitations in their ability to integrate payment processors and user interfaces. According to Acres, “These issues have dramatically slowed industry adaptation of cashless gaming. Cashless Casino addresses this challenge by making the rollout incredibly easy and intuitive.”

Players using Cashless Casino mobile app can virtually join a rated play session. During play, point balances accumulate in real time which incentivizes players to continue their gaming when a new tier status approaches.

The payment processor of choice provides for the free flow of player funds between their funding source and the app's wallet, and casinos choose between payment providers.

Acres believes these advantages will improve customer relations in casinos. He says: “Driving higher loyalty engagement is the core value proposition of Foundation technology… Cashless Casino enables casino operators to significantly improve their connection and engagement with their players.”
