Along with the appointment of Meltzer, the company announced a new chairwoman as well.

GameOn announced several moves within the company including the appointment of David Meltzer to the Board of Directors. Meltzer was the inspiration for the film Jerry Maguire and is a three-time international best-selling author.

Meltzer also hosts a podcast titled "The Playbook" which GameOn CEO Matt Bailey appeared on last year. GameOn is a web3 game technology company that operates and monetizes Web3-based prediction and fantasy games.

Meltzer is the Executive Producer of the Apple TV series 2 Minute Drill and Office Hours and has been mentioned in many books and movies including the 2017 film Think and Grow Rich: The Legacy.

Bailey said: "At a time when we are focused on driving revenue and profitability, an industry veteran like Dave will have an immediate impact on our business."

He added: "His network and experience in the precise space we are in is second-to-none. Dave is an excellent addition to the team who I’m excited to continue building the future of our company with."

Along with the appointment of Meltzer, the company announced that J Moses has assumed a non-board role as Special Advisor to the CEO. Moses was formally the Director of GameOn and his resignation took effect on June 16, 2022.

Carey Dillen has assumed the role of chairwoman which also was effective on the same date.

GameOn has a variety of customers which include NBCUniversal, Bravo, MX Player, and Chibi Dinos. In early May, the company appointed Luke Gniwecki as a Special Advisor of Web3 and NFT Product Innovation.

Before his appointment to the role, Gniwecki served as Head of Product for Boson Protocol. During his time there he created Boson Portal, the first-ever Metaverse experience allowing brands to set up virtual stores, create mini-games and sell physical products as NFTs.

Gniwecki also advises a metaverse and games technology company, Admix, and has founded Metaverski, a Web3 and Metaverse product consultancy business.
