Hard Rock Sportsbook is preparing for the launch of legal sports betting in Ohio on 1 January 2023. In anticipation of the countdown, Hard Rock Sportsbook has proffered #FOMOPROMOOH, a promotional campaign that will reward Ohio sports bettors who register early for the app with $500 in bonus bets.
Future Ohioan sports bettors that download the Hard Rock Sportsbook app and create a verified account will receive this bonus bet as soon as the state launches this app.
Hard Rock will reward those that sign up earliest (by 1 August) 2022 with the largest bonus bet ($500); they must also bet within the first two weeks of the new year to qualify for the promotion. This amount will decrease the closer it gets to the 2023 new year launch date.
Ohio is currently in a ‘legalized but not live’ state when it comes to sports betting, along with Maine, Kansas and Nebraska. This means that Ohioans will have missed much of the nation's football season (the most active betting time of the year). However, they will still be able to bet on post-season games and the college football national championship, which begins on 9 January.
