Move marks first foray into US market for Dutch developer.

Slot developer Stakelogic has made its first headway into the American market after debuting its platform in Michigan. Both the company’s classic slots and video slots will be available in the state.

The move came after the Dutch company was granted a Provisional Internet Gaming Supplier License by Michigan’s gaming regulator.

With the license comes the full range of Stakelogic’s products.

Among its most popular titles are El Patron, Atlantis Gold and Candy Wild Bonanza Hold and Spin.

The move by the company is indicative of greater hopes for the American market, as comments from group CEO Stephan van den Oetelaar indicated in comments: “Securing approval to launch in Michigan is a milestone moment for Stakelogic and our ambitions for the US market where we intend to become a leading provider of popular online casino content.

“Our classic slots and video slots have taken global markets by storm, and we expect them to be a big hit with players in Michigan and across the US.”

Oetelaar then assumed a gracious stance when noting the help proffered by state officials: “I’d like to thank the Michigan regulator for working with us on securing our license and we now look forward to seeing players in the state enjoy the engaging and entertaining experience our games deliver with each spin.”

Michigan is one of six US states that allows online gaming, the others being Connecticut, Delaware, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. With more markets gearing to legalize in the coming years, the US will likely prove a fecund theater in which European gaming companies can operate.
