Both bring a vast wealth of knowledge and experience to their new roles.

Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) has appointed Steve May as Client Solutions Executive and Samuel Grunther as Account Executive. The addition of May and Grunther is the company’s latest move to expand its client solutions and client services teams.

GLI delivers iGaming, lottery and land-based testing, as well as assessment services around the globe. Its laboratory facilities are located in the US and across six continents.

May held a position as the Minnesota Racing Commission’s Executive Director prior to joining GLI and has years of experience in pari-mutuel, racing and compliance.

He has also served as Executive Director of the Minnesota Racing Commission, as Director of Pari-Mutuel Wagering and Compliance for the Kentucky Horse Racing Commission, and was the Vice President and Business Manager for the Association of Racing Commissioners International.

GLI Senior Vice President of Government Affairs and General Counsel Kevin Mullally said: “Steve May has been a successful problem solver throughout his career, and we are fortunate to have him join the GLI team.

“He is known for playing an essential role in developing a regulatory framework for historical horse racing. However, his technical acumen and knowledge of developing and implementing compliance programs will greatly benefit a wide array of our clients. He has earned the trust of both regulators and the industry, and we are grateful to have him on the team.”

Grunther brings years of sports betting and iGaming industry experience to his new role. Prior to joining GLI, he held positions with FanDuel and Conduet where he served in client relations and customer operations.

GLI Vice President of Client Services Salim L. Adatia commented: “Sam’s strong knowledge and understanding of the sports media landscape, coupled with his experience collaborating cross departmentally within companies spanning iGaming and sports betting, will allow him to hit the ground running and immediately contribute to satisfying the needs of our quickly growing list of valued clientele, thereby illuminating their path for their success and growth.”
