PointsBet names Ansley O’Neal as VP of Brand Strategy & Marketing

Josh Powell will also join the company as its Director of Brand Marketing.
PointsBet USA has hired Ansley O’Neal and Josh Powell to assist the sportsbook in its brand marketing strategy. O’Neal will step into the role of Vice President of Brand Strategy & Marketing, and Powell will serve as the company’s Director of Brand Marketing.
O’Neal bring more than 15 years of sports gaming industry experience to her new position. She served on the International Olympic Committee, where she was responsible overseeing phone delivery to Olympic & Paralympic athletes in Tokyo during 2020.
In her new position, O’Neal will oversee the development and implementation of new brand and market strategies.
Powell started his sports betting industry career with Paddy Power. While there, he managed and oversaw Betfair’s new market launces. Prior to joining PointsBet USA, he was the Director of Social and Digital at The Tenth Man, a marketing agency that services sports betting clients around the globe.
Powell will assist in marketing function to design and implement sports betting campaigns in his new position with the company.

PointsBet currently operates in Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Virginia, and West Virginia, with online casinos in Michigan, New Jersey and West Virginia.
The Australian company has achieved several firsts since the beginning of the year, including opening three US iGaming operations, launching its tenth US sportsbook and taking its first online sports bet in the state of Pennsylvania. Recently, PointsBet launched its iGaming platform in New Jersey and opened its West Virginia online sports betting operation.
Since the first of the year, the company has launched online sports betting in New York and Pennsylvania, and it was approved in Wyoming as an online sports wagering operator.
It is also an approved sportsbook operator of the NFL, an authorized sports betting operator of the NBA, and the official sports betting partner of NBC Sports.
