Jackpocket and the Colorado Rockies have entered into a partnership with one another with the formerly mentioned gambling company becoming the official digital lottery partner of the major league baseball (MLB) club.
Jackpocket is a well-established third-party application in the US which specializes in offering a secure means of ordering a lottery ticket.
This marks the New York City-based Jackpocket’s third major partnership with an MLB club after announcements came out earlier in the spring of unions between the Texas Rangers and the Minnesota Twins. Besides these, the company has also partnered with teams of other major leagues, including the NFL, NBA and NHL.
Among benefits accruing from this partnership are the following: Jackpocket will be enabling free giveaways, branded merchandise, as well as VIP experiences. For those who have just signed up, there will be the opportunity to enter the code ’ROCKIES’ to receive a complementary lottery ticket.
The Jackpocket logo will also feature on Rockies.com, the team’s social media pages, and on screens at the team’s Coors Field and in its MacGregor Square.
Jackpocket Founder and CEO Peter Sullivan struck a sanguine note when discussing the deal: “As baseball season really heats up, our partnership with the Colorado Rockies couldn’t come at a better time.
“The Rockies are a local institution and we’re excited to bring fans a new, digital-first way to play the lottery while also celebrating their love of this storied team.”
The company has certainly found a worthy partner with the Colorado Rockies: they had the ninth highest attendance of any team in the big leagues.
And they are looking forward to further growth. As team Vice President of Corporate Partnerships Walker Monfort put it: “We are thrilled to partner with Jackpocket to facilitate growth of its brand among our audience.
“Alongside its existing partnerships in professional and collegiate sports, we look forward to enhancing its user base throughout the Rocky Mountain region.”
