The company is tasked with enhancing the electronic gaming systems for the state lottery.

A contract extension between the Kansas Lottery and International Game Technology (IGT) has been signed and extended for 10 years. The contract extension is expected to run through Dec. 14, 2032.

An enhanced version of IGT's INTELLIGEN™ software will be provided to provide the Kansas Lottery with its most advanced system. The technology will strategically manage its electronic gaming machine network and provide its players with optimal gaming experiences.

More specific features include site controllers that maintain network diagnostics and communications between all gaming machines. Along with advanced business intelligence tools for operations management and reporting, which includes updated disaster recovery technology.

Jay Gendron, IGT Chief Operating Officer, Global Lottery said: "IGT's upgraded INTELLIGEN system will provide the Kansas Lottery with a suite of comprehensive tools designed to drive revenues and offer its players world-class gaming experiences."

Gendron continued: "INTELLIGEN's improved system performance will also allow the Lottery to manage its vast network with maximum efficiency over the next decade and position the Lottery to deploy future functionality to meet the needs of the evolving gaming landscape."

Along with providing electronic gaming machines and the INTELLIGEN central system to the Kansas Lottery, IGT also provides the Kansas Lottery with instant ticket games and printing services.

Not long ago, IGT landed an agreement with Harrington Raceway and Casino, the casino will deploy the latest iteration of the IGT ADVANTAGE casino management system.

The casino will also, for the first time, use IGT's TournXtreme™ tournament technology and the Mobile Host and Mobile Responder apps.

Mark Schrecengost said: "IGT ADVANTAGE has been the backbone of our casino for many years, and we're excited to enter a new era of our systems partnership with IGT via solutions that will help us boost productivity and service, elevate our guests' play and loyalty and position us for growth."

Schrecengost is the Harrington Raceway and Casino General Manager and the deployment of new products will be in phases throughout the year.
