CBS Sports and Second Spectrum, a division of Genius Sports, partnered to power RomoVision which won the George Wensel Technical Achievement Award after just one season.
RomoVision combines the NFL’s Next Gen Stats (NGS) feed with Second Spectrum’s live video augmentation. Player movements are tracked and drawn on-screen during first replays and are accompanied by Tony Romo’s analysis.
This award is considered one of the most prestigious Sports Emmys, which recognizes tech-based innovations in sports production and broadcasting.

Second Spectrum was acquired by Genius Sports in May of 2021. As the NFL's exclusive distributor of official league data, Genius Sports powers fan experiences by using personalized, data-driven technology.

Early in May of 2022 Genius Sports signed an official data, trading and live streaming deal with Brazilian sportsbook Betsul. They will now deliver sports betting content in Latin America as well.
Genius Sports is set to offer its portfolio of Brazilian content through existing partnerships with the English Premier League, Liga MX, the Argentine Primera División, and Dimayor to Betsul sportsbook users.
