Marks a new addition to Indiana's most popular casino.

Indiana’s top-grossing casino for the last few months, the Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana, has expanded its offerings by adding a sportsbook to its roster of gaming offerings.

The sportsbook officially opened on May 11. At the new location, there will be 25 betting kiosks available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The new sportsbook – dubbed Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana’s Sportsbook – has been placed at the site’s northern end, in the vicinity of the Hard Rock Café.

Among its offerings will be sports wagering on futures and live betting on games or events in progress. In addition to all major sports, tennis, golf, UFC and Nascar will also be available. Notably, horse betting will not be an option.

For the bettors’ enjoyment, there will be a large LED screen on which to watch games; odds will be posted on boards and available on sheets. As well, bettors will have access to the food and drink services of the neighboring Hard Rock Café.

President of Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana Matt Schuffert had the following to comment on the new development: “I’m very excited to finally announce the opening of sportsbook as a great addition to our other gaming amenities.

“And I’d especially like to thank all the employees who have worked so hard to bring this project fruition.”

The Hard Rock has led the land-based sector of the Hoosier State for the last few months and has become a top revenue earner in both slots and table games. Whether it can replicate this success with sports handle remains to be seen.
