Stern brings more than two decades of industry experience to her new position.

Underdog Sports has appointed Stacie Stern as its Vice President of Government Affairs and Partnerships. Stern will serve as a company executive and will be responsible for overseeing the growth of Underdog’s sports betting products that are soon to be released.

The company will launch its sportsbook throughout multiple markets during the next few months.

Underdog Sports has been focused on expanding its overall user base and growing within the US market. The company recently launched a season-long fantasy football contest with a $10m prize pool.

Stern currently serves as the Chair of the Fantasy Sports and Gaming Association. She has more than 20 years of experience in the gaming industry. Stern served at FanDuel prior to stepping into her new role with Underdog Sports.

Underdog President Jeremy Levine commented about Stern’s experience and the value she will bring to the company.

Levine said: "When we talked internally about who would be the perfect person to grow our government affairs and market partnerships, the first person on our list was Stacie Stern. She has such a unique perspective and there is no one else we'd rather have join the team in this role."

Stern took a moment to comment about her new opportunity and how she is looking forward to working with the company.

"I couldn't be more thrilled to be joining Underdog,” she said. Underdog is the most exciting and innovative company in the space and has a great shot to be a market leader in the coming years and I can't wait to play a meaningful role in the growth.”
