Digital games maven SciPlay Corporation has elected three new directors to its board, bringing the total tally of board members to nine.

The new appointees – April Henry, Charles “CJ” Prober and Constance “Connie” P. James – bring with them a wealth of experience from the worlds of technology, gaming and digital entertainment.

The three all assumed their new roles on May 1, 2022.

Group CEO Barry Cottle expressed excitement at the future working relationship to be had at SciPlay: “I am excited to welcome a diverse group of proven leaders to SciPlay’s board. SciPlay is operating at the cutting edge of mobile games, and as we work to achieve our potential, having the right mix of perspectives in the boardroom matters.

“I look forward to working alongside April, CJ, Connie and our other board members to oversee SciPlay’s strategy to become a leading diversified global game developer and enhance value for our shareholders.”

April Henry comes from the intersection of finance and technology. A former analyst at Morgan Stanley, she has advised numerous clients in that sphere in mergers and acquisitions. Currently, she sits on the board of ATP International and serves as EVP of Corporate Development at Science Inc.

CJ Prober has worked in gaming and digital entertainment for two decades. Among the companies where he has held leading roles are Electronic Arts and GoPro, Inc. Currently, he is CEO of Tile, Inc. and a board member at Life360.

Connie James also hails from the intersection of finance and gaming. Her current role is as EVP and CFO of Light & Wonder (formerly Scientific Games). While in this role, she was instrumental in transforming the group to one with a global reach.
