ESL Gaming and Gameloft for brands have partnered to launch an esports competition for Snapdragon Elite Gaming & Pagani Automobili through Asphalt 9: Legends, the most recent game released by the arcade racing franchise.

Both iPhone and Android users will be able to access the competition and race for a spot to compete in the grand finals that will take place toward the end of May.

The event is open to players from all over the world, including North America, Europe, the Middle East and North Africa. Players will have a chance to win a share of a global prize pool totaling $27,000.

Gameloft for brands SVP Brand Partnership & Advertising Alexandre Tan said: “We’re thrilled to announce this new competition in Asphalt 9: Legends with ESL Gaming taking part of our massive in-game advertising network offering to Snapdragon to reach & engage their audience in a meaningful way!”

This is the first season of the Snapdragon Mobile Open Asphalt 9 competition. Players are invited to race Pagani hypercars that will feature the Snapdragon brand via an on-track virtual OOH.

ESL Gaming General Manager Kevin Rosenblatt commented: “Gameloft has been a great partner for many years, and we are excited that they are joining us in the front seat while we start with the Snapdragon Pro Series journey.

“Their innovative and engaging in-game solutions aid us in welcoming both keen brands and aspiring players into the Era of Everyone, while driving forward mobile esports as a whole.”
