Details of the partnership include personal appearances, responsible gaming initiatives and special promotions.

MaximBet, a newly launched sports betting and online casino brand in the US, has signed a sponsorship deal with Charlie Blackmon of the Colorado Rockies. This marks the brand’s first-ever agreement with an active baseball player.

Per the terms of this agreement, the four-time MLB All-Star and second longest tenured player in Rockies history will make personal appearances for the operator, take part in responsible gaming initiatives and aid with special promotions.

“As I learned more about MaximBet, I knew this absolutely was the right brand for me,” noted Blackmon. “MaximBet has really attached itself to the local Colorado community, and I cannot wait to have some fun with MaximBet and surprising fans with incredible ‘money can’t buy’ experiences all season.”

Moreover, MaximBet will also join forces with the artist SolesbySir to develop and design unique memorabilia based around Blackmon and baseball as a whole. Several MaximBet players will be selected to win these designs.

“Charlie is one of the most revered Rockies players of all time, and his style and career success makes him a perfect fit for MaximBet,” said Daniel Graetzer, CEO, MaximBet.

“We are thrilled to welcome Charlie to the MaximBet family. We look forward to him hitting it out of the ballpark for us as we continue to grow in Colorado and across the country.”

MaximBet is currently live in Colorado, having first launched its offering to the public last year. The operator also has market access in New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Ontario, with launches expected in these jurisdictions soon.
