With this, Novomatic’s full suite of games is set to become available throughout Canada.

Novomatic Americas, the subsidiary of the gaming technology brand Novomatic AG, has agreed a multi-year partnership with R2 Gaming. This new partnership will see Novomatic’s full suite of games launched throughout Canada.

Seeing products such as Money Party, Novo Unity II and Novomatic ActionBook enter into this newly regulated market is seen as a major coup for the gaming brand, as it looks to capitalize on the huge potential of Canada.

"We are pleased to add one of Canada's top distributors as our partner. This collaboration offers us tremendous potential in all of their markets. Our ambitions are aligned in growing the business and expanding our retail presence in Canada. R2 Gaming Inc. and Novomatic Americas together are a powerful combination,” said Rick Meitzler, President and CEO of Novomatic Americas.

“With strong relationships and an accomplished team, combined with Novomatic Americas' diverse product portfolio, we welcome the opportunities to grow together. We're excited to explore the possibilities that lie ahead with R2 Gaming Inc. and look forward to providing the Canadian player base with the exceptional entertainment experiences that we are known for around the globe," he continued.

This news comes shortly after the launch of Ontario’s iGaming market, an industry set to rival some of the most powerful jurisdictions in North America. Indeed, conversavtive predictions put the Ontario market at $1.5bn in state revenue per year.

R2 Co-Founders Rocco DiPaola and Ravi Sharma added: “We are very excited about this strategic partnership. Combining Novomatic Americas’ world-renowned products with R2’s customer service and support model will positively impact operators.

“The partnership will significantly increase Novomatic Americas’ presence within the regulated Canadian markets and provide customers access to Novomatic Americas’ rich portfolio of products. With both companies having a customer-centric philosophy, we look forward to a long, mutually beneficial partnership.”
