Elys Game Technology recruits Sandy Drozd to head US technology deployment

Elys Game Technology has hired Sandy Drozd to head its US and Canadian technology deployments.

Drozd holds a degree from the University of Nevada, as well as several regulatory submissions in multiple US states. Prior to joining Elys, she held a position with Wynn Resorts Las Vegas as its Executive Director of Mobile Applications and Agile Transformation and later served as the company’s Executive Director of Deployment Operations. She was also the Senior Director of Product Delivery at William Hill, Assistant General Manager at American Wagering, Inc., Sports Gaming Consultant with DW & Associates, and Audit Supervisor for Caesars Palace.

Elys Executive Chairman Michele Ciavarella said: “We are thrilled to have Sandy join Elys as team lead for US technology deployments, confirming our commitment to global expansion. Working through our USBookmaking subsidiary in Las Vegas, Sandy joins our world-class Odissea technology team based in Innsbruck and Tuscany.

“Sandy brings over 25 years of experience in the sports gaming industry in complex US regulatory submissions and provides a critical function for our rapid multi-state expansion plan. I am also absolutely confident that her strong people skills could produce highly effective, self-organizing development and delivery teams for our aspirations of becoming the leading B2B sports betting technology provider in North America.”

Drozd expressed her excitement to join the team and help the company expand its brand.

Elys operates in multiple countries worldwide and currently has operations in six US states. It offers gaming products and services, such as sports betting, esports, virtual sports, online casino, poker, bingo, interactive games and slots.

The company also provides wagering solutions and services to online operators, casinos, retail betting establishments and franchise distribution networks.
