Nick Earl appointed as Independent Director of SciPlay

The former CEO of Glu Mobile Inc. will join the SciPlay Board of Directors.

Going into effect on April 15, 2022, Nick Earl will join the SciPlay Board of Directors, bringing the total of board members to six. Earl's most recent position was as the Chief Executive Officer of Glu Mobile Inc., which developed games such as Design Home.

He also worked as the Senior Vice President of EA Mobile, where he oversaw the release of mobile titles such as The Simpsons: Tapped Out. Earl has over two decades of experience in mobile gaming, which he'll bring to SciPlay.

Barry Cottle, Executive Chairman of the Board, said: "Nick is a gaming industry veteran, and we are thrilled to welcome him to the SciPlay Board."

He continued: "Nick’s appointment reflects our commitment to refreshing the SciPlay Board with new, independent members that add skills and experience relevant to SciPlay’s strategy to build and operate the top mobile games in the world."

The Chief Executive Officer of SciPlay, Josh Wilson, had this to say: "Nick has spent decades building global gaming organizations and leading the development of high-growth mobile and social games."

Wilson went on to say: "We look forward to benefitting from his insights and expertise as SciPlay advances its strategy to expand into the casual market and become a leading diversified global game developer to enhance value for all shareholders."

Currently, Nick Earl serves as a Senior Advisor to AviaGames, makers of Word Clash, Bingo Tour, and more. Before becoming CEO of Glu Mobile Inc., Earl worked as Glu Mobile’s President of Global Studios from 2015 to 2016.

SciPlay has access to 1,500 real-world slot and table games provided by Scientific Games Corporation and its subsidiaries. SciPlay offers social casino games and casual games on multiple mobile platforms.
