Operators will gain access to the suppliers catalogue of online slots, table games and technology.

Light & Wonder, formerly Scientific Games Corporation, has expanded its presence in the North American iGaming market by launching its offering in Ontario.

Per the terms of this expansion, Light & Wonder will provide its full suite of online slots, table games and technology to operate across the newly launched province. This will be achieved via the OpenGaming platform.

Dylan Slaney, CEO iGaming at Light & Wonder, said: “We’re incredibly proud to be bringing our OpenGaming offering to the re-regulated province of Ontario upon its iGaming open market launch. It goes without saying, our extensive catalogue of highly sought-after games are unbeatable, and we’re confident that players will truly enjoy everything we have to offer them.

Providing operators with over 3,500 games, this adds another feather into the cap of the Ontario market, which has already seen some of the biggest names in gaming enter the region.

“This expansion is a significant move for Light & Wonder that further highlights our desire to continue our steady and sustained growth in key emerging markets around the world,” continued Slaney.

“With cutting edge content that is easy to integrate, we have strong ambitions to hold a leading position in Ontario and this takes us a step further on our journey to become the leading cross-platform global game company.”

April 4 saw the launch of single-event sports betting and iGaming in Canada’s most populous province. With this, a slew of operators and suppliers released their products in the region, including theScore, FanDuel, Sportradar and Rush Street Interactive.
