Star to represent the gaming company at broadcasting events.

BetMGM is seeking to expand its profile in the world of professional softball after it signed the globally-recognized player – and now TV personality at the Major League Baseball Network – AJ Andrews to work as brand ambassador and content creator for the company.

Among her jobs in the new role will be to appear as a spokesperson on behalf of BetMGM in broadcast opportunities, participate on social media platforms, and to attend fan events.

Andrews has had a storied career in the world of softball. It began at Louisiana State University, where she helped the school's softball team win two Women’s College World Series. She went pro in 2015 when she joined the Chicago Bandits. The following year, after having moved to the Akron Racers, she became the first female to win the Rawlings Gold Glove Award. Prior to this, that award had previously only gone to the men of Major League Baseball.

In addition to sterling performances on the field, Andrews also stays active working with community non-profit groups that mentor young women.

She commented on her new role: “I am so grateful for the opportunity to dive further into the sports betting industry as a brand ambassador for BetMGM. As I continue to advocate for more opportunities for women in sports, I’m excited to have this new platform to creatively share and inspire others.”

For its part, BetMGM was excited to begin working with the new ambassador: “AJ is an all-around powerhouse who has been a trailblazer in sports throughout her career. BetMGM is proud to welcome her to the team as a new personality in sports betting.”
