This announcement comes after the mobile games developer received approval to operate in the province of Ontario.

Gaming Realms is set to launch its offering in the Canadian province of Québec. This launch, facilitated by a partnership with the operator Loto-Québec, will see titles such as Slingo Extreme and Blackjack Xchange go live for approximately 8.5 million people.

This agreement expands upon Gaming Realms’ existing presence in Québec, with its Slingo product already operating in the region.

These games will be quickly followed by the release of Gaming Realms’ other products as the developer looks to expand its influence in this growing market.

Mark Segal, Chief Financial Officer of Gaming Realms, noted: "Hot on the heels of being awarded our Ontario iGaming license, we are delighted to have gone live with Loto-Québec. 2022 is set to be an exciting time for the Company as we move to establish a strong foothold in the Canadian market and work towards our longer-term plan of expanding further into the North American market."

In order to release these products as seamlessly as possible, Gaming Realms’ offering has been integrated with its North American partner, Light & Wonder.

Stéphane Martel, Head of the Products and Innovation team at Loto-Québec, added: "Gaming Realms' games are a great addition to our growing online casino game portfolio. Our players will enjoy this new offer."

With the launch of single-event sports betting and iGaming coming to Ontario next week, a slew of operators and suppliers have moved to enhance their presence in Canada’s nascent regulated gaming scene. Among the operators set to launch on day one are theScore, PointsBet Canada and FanDuel Ontario.
