Rivalry Corp. adds mobile esports betting to its sportsbook
The CEO and Co-Founder said he hopes the new product line will further engage the younger demographic.
Rivalry Corp. has added mobile esports betting to its sportsbook. The internationally regulated sports betting and media company is among the first to offer esports to its betting platform.
Players will now be able to wager on competitive esports played on mobile devices. They will have access to the sportsbook’s well-known titles, including Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, League of Legends Wild Rift, Call of Duty Mobile, PUBG Mobile and Free Fire.
Rivalry has also created a new category called Massively Multiplayer Online Gambling Games (MMOGG). Its Rushlane online casino game is the first addition to the MMOGG category.
CEO and Co-Founder Steven Salz said: “Mobile gaming is soaring in popularity around the world, and we believe mobile esports titles will be among the most played, viewed, and bet on within the coming years.
“Not everyone has a desktop computer capable of playing top games, or a console at home, but nearly everyone now has a mobile phone. This makes the global ecosystem for mobile gaming incredibly deep and exciting. We think the future is massive for this platform.”
Salz went on to note that the company’s strategy has made it a recognizable brand among younger players.
“Rivalry aims to innovate by bringing new products to market in advance of the traditional online betting providers. This approach has helped us establish the highest brand engagement among the Gen Z and younger Millennial demographic,” he said.
Rivalry currently operates in 18 countries. The company wholly owns and operates Rivalry Limited, which now holds an Isle of Man license it acquired in 2018. The company is currently in the process of obtaining additional licenses.
