Whitworth has worked in the gaming industry for almost two decades and has held roles at Entain and Light & Wonder.

Andy Whitworth has been appointed to the position of CEO at White Hat Studios, a US-facing subsidiary of White Hat Gaming. This announcement follows several high-profile appointments by the supplier as it looks to expand its US presence.

Having spent 19 years in the gaming industry Whitworth brings a wealth of experience to this new role, previously holding C-level positions at NetEnt, Entain and Light & Wonder, formerly Scientific Games.

Speaking on this new role, Whitworth said: “Our goal is to become one of the top game suppliers in the US market, bringing not only high-quality content, but also high quality service to our customers.

“We have been going at an unprecedented speed, so it was important for us to follow up by carefully selecting the right people and build an industry-leading team at White Hat Studios."

While White Hat Studios is yet to officially go live in the US, the company has signed a number of exclusive brand deals for its offering. These include partnerships with the Ted movie franchise and Deal or No Deal.

Among the other C-level changes at White Hat Studios is the appointment of Armen Tatarevic as the lead of the company’s account management team.

White Hat Studios, which began operations in 2021 is set to offer US-focused slots, jackpots, RNG, table and instant win games to players across the United States.
