News comes amid other revamps for the hotel side of the resort.

Ocean Casino Resort in Atlantic City is looking forward to a new look after the opening of The Gallery Bar, Book & Games was announced, a move that will mark the end of a $25m transformation of its casino floor.

The Gallery itself is to be completed to the tune of $5m and will make its formal debut this summer. The venue will be 12,000 square feet.

All of the sports betting technology in the new venue will be provided by Elys Game Technology subsidiary USBookmaking.

Among its unique physical features will be a 100-foot elevated bar and lounge that can hold within it 59 seats as well as 12 slot machines. Around the perimeter of the space will be blackjack and roulette tables. Beyond this, there will be LED lining the wall which will reach 140 feet. The lighting will be customizable. Looking above the floor will be a mezzanine bar – the Balcony Bar – which will have a VIP sportsbook and be connected by an open staircase.

Ocean Casino Resort General Manager Bill Callahan commented on the allure that the new design would bring to players: “Ocean is dedicated to being the premier gaming destination in the Atlantic City market.

“The new venue will enhance the guest experience by providing an unbeatable atmosphere right in the heart of the casino floor.”

The Gallery isn’t the only improvement that Ocean Casino Resort will be seeing in the near future. The hotel is expected to have $75m in investment which will bring an additional 460 guest rooms to the complex.
