The company’s iGaming offering is now live in five states.

International Game Technology (IGT) has announced the launch of its iGaming platform, IGT PlayCasino, for operators and players across West Virginia.

Per this announcement, players in the Mountain State will gain access to games such as Fortune Coin, Cleopatra, Ultimate X Poker and Siberian Storm.

“Expanding IGT’s PlayCasino footprint into West Virginia presents an incredible opportunity to further our leadership in a high-growth segment of our business,” said Gil Rotem, IGT President of iGaming.

“IGT has vast experience supplying compelling iGaming content and platform technologies to operators worldwide. IGT PlayDigital is the top provider of iGaming content in the US and we look forward to helping our customers in West Virginia maximize player engagement as the demand for digital gaming continues to grow.”

Recently, IGT reaffirmed its commitment to the prevention of problem gambling. As part of Problem Gambling Awareness Month, the supplier launched its Positive Play campaign and made a contribution to the International Center for Responsible Gaming.

Speaking on this initiative, IGT SVP Marketing, Communications and Sustainability Wendy Montgomery said: “Responsible gaming has been a large part of IGT’s DNA for many years, and the importance of it is instilled in our employees across all business segments through a variety of programs.

“It is through industry initiatives such as Problem Gambling Awareness Month that we can showcase our leadership in this space on a broader scale and bring further awareness to our customers and their players. We are pleased with the strides IGT has made in promoting Positive Play within all gaming verticals and will continue our contributions and support of the industry’s most prestigious responsible gaming organizations."

West Virginia is one of five states with an operational online casino market. New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut and Delaware also allow iGaming, with discussions continuing in New York.
