GAN records 40% online gambling growth in Pennsylvania

GameAccount Network (GAN) has reported growth in internet gambling in Pennsylvania for the month of February amid the COVID-19 pandemic, although sports betting numbers fell.
The supplier reported internet gaming win of $19.5m for the month, a rise of 40% month-on-month.
Total internet sports wagering handle was approximately $294.1m, down 5%, while sports wagering gross revenue was $11m, a fall of 60%.
The supplier recently announced it will be providing its technology to the Sault Tribe of Chippewa Indians in the state of Michigan.
The deal will see GAN provide its services to the tribe’s five land-based Kewadin casino properties in the state.
In its last trading update, GAN reported gross operator revenue of $120.8m for Q4 2019, an increase of 189% year-on-year.
The supplier also saw a 95% increase in active player days, with a total of 9 million for the period, and an average revenue per active player day of $13.43 for the quarter, up 48% from the previous year.
