Mexico placement is latest LatAm partnership for game manufacturer.

Gaming equipment supplier Zitro on Thursday said it has reached an agreement with casino operator Golden Lion Entertainment Group.

Golden Lion, owner of brands such as Twin Lions, Golden Lion, Revolución, Rio and Golden City, contracted with Zitro to introduce Zitro’s new Glare family in its Mexican casinos.

With the addition of more than 200 Glare cabinets, Golden Lion now has more than 1,000 Zitro machines installed in its gaming properties.

Thanks to this agreement, Wheel of Legends, Zitro’s new progressive multigame, has come to Golden Lion’s casinos, presented on the Altius Glare cabinet.

According to Zitro, the cabinet has 55-inch and 27-in full HD displays, 4K graphic resolution and a smart LED halo, allowing it to give players an immersive gaming experience.

Wheel of Legends includes four exclusive game titles and themed features.

In addition to Altius Glare, Golden Lion and Zitro said their alliance has been reinforced with the installation of Megashare Lounge, a shared progressive jackpot system whereby, if one player wins the MEGA prize, all Megashare players will receive a prize.

“We are confident that this completely new gaming experience will continue to gain popularity and become one of the preferred jackpot systems in many markets,” Johnny Ortiz Viveiros, founder of Zitro, said in a statement. “We are confident that Megashare Lounge will also be an added value for Golden Lion, a gaming and entertainment benchmark in Mexico.”

Luxembourg-based Zitro has had a busy start to 2022, with installations of 211 slot cabinets of the Glare family in PlayCity Casinos in Mexico and the Link King and Link Me multigames at the newly licensed Casino de Mendoza in General Alvear, Argentina.
