He will be working with media personality Jessica Smetana to discuss sports news and culture on an hour-long program.

DraftKings has recruited former NFL defensive lineman Mike Golic to host a weekly one-hour podcast video show with Meadowlark Media personality Jessica Smetana. The two will interview special guests on the podcast and will also cover the intersection of sports news and pop culture.

This isn’t DraftKings’ first media collaboration. The company also recently hired two industry veterans, Stacie McCollum and Todd Dubester. McCollum is responsible for building out the company’s owned content and distribution, and Dubester oversees the search for new distribution channels and business models for the company’s media vertical.

He previously worked for ESPN College Football as an analyst. He was the co-host of ESPN Radio’s Mike & Mike and Golic & Wingo from 1995 to 2020. In 2021. Golic has also been the main analyst for Westward One Thursday Night Football since 2021.

“I am thrilled to welcome Mike Golic Sr. to the DraftKings family,” said Brian Angiolet, Chief Media Officer at DraftKings.

“Mike brings tremendous credibility and depth to our brand and will help bolster our coverage of the NFL and beyond. We continue to build a formidable lineup of star-power talent, in an effort to inform, entertain and engage our customers.”
