IGT hires Max Chiara as CFO

International Gaming Technology has hired Max Chiara as its EVP and CFO.
Chiara also joins the IGT board of directors. He replaces Alberto Fornaro, who resigned late last year.
Chiara previously served as CFO and Chief Sustainability Officer at CNH Industrial N.V.
Marco Sala, IGT CEO, said: “We are excited to have Max join the IGT team, both as a member of my senior leadership team and as a board member. His broad and deep background in all facets of global finance and operations, in addition to his high standards of excellence, will be tremendous assets to our organization.”
Chiara joins IGT in a turbulent moment for the gaming industry as it responds to the COVID-19 pandemic.
IGT is one of many companies to see its stock fall in recent weeks.
The company was trading below $5.00 on Monday, less than a month after its value grew above $14.00.
Chiara said: “It is a great honor to be joining an iconic gaming industry leader. I look forward to working with IGT’s strong leadership team and assisting the Company in achieving its strategic and financial goals.”
