Quartet will produce content at FIFA Club World Cup.

South American sports betting and online casino operator Rivalo on Monday said it is continuing to expand its presence in the Brazilian market by hiring four ambassadors to attend the FIFA Club World Cup in Qatar.

The company flew Arthur Balan, Tulinho, Matheus Gonze and Mauro Beting, four influencers linked to Brazilian sport, to the Middle Eastern country to follow Palmeiras, current champion of the Copa Libertadores da América.

The foursome will spend a week in the same house, producing videos and daily content, all sponsored by Rivalo.

The influencers will release content posts on match days, in which they will give their predictions. In addition, the content creators will interact with each other and with Rivalo’s social networks, aiming to leverage the brand’s reach, promoting offers and promotions for users of the sports betting platform.

According to a statement from the company, the intention of the project is to position Rivalo as the “sponsor of dreams,” with the creation of original material on the stage of a premier international sporting event.

Rivalo said each of the four were chosen because they have an identified and highly engaged audience. For example, the company noted Balan has 512,000 followers on Instagram, 820,000 on TikTok, and 6.4m subscribers to his YouTube channel, “Vosso Canal.”

Tulinho has 400,000 followers on Instagram and 415,000 on his YouTube channel, “Tulinho Oficial.” Gonze has 430,000 fans on Instagram and 260,000 subscribers to his YouTube channel, called “Gonze Neles.”

Journalist, writer and sports commentator Beting counts an audience of 740,000 people on his Instagram, 210,000 on Twitter and 378,000 on Facebook, Rivalo said.

“This trip is one of the experiences we seek to bring to the first influencers of Team Rivalo,” Guilherme Bucchi, Acquisition Manager Brazil at Rivalo, said in a statement. “We are going to be doing a lot of content throughout the year, and this will be the first taste of what is to come.”

Beting added: “I have been a sports journalist for 31 years, and a fan of Palmeiras since I was young. The passion for my team led me to love football, which made me what I am. And that now takes me to the World Cup with Rivalo not just to work but to enjoy the best of life, the soccer and the unconditional passion for what we love.”

Rivalo says its betting system is operated by Matchserv Solutions NV, a company founded under the laws of the government of Curaçao. The bookmaker offers opportunities in major sports such as football, tennis, basketball, volleyball, Formula 1 and more.
