Expanding its presence in the Americas is a top priority for the European developer.

New blood is coming to Interblock’s Latin American operations after it was announced that a new Regional Sales Manager, Galy Olazo, would be overseeing that region for the luxury gaming manufacturer.

Olazo is to be based at the company’s Peru office. Her remit will be leading sales in that country, Colombia and Central America.

Prior to Interblock, Olazo worked as Sales and Account Manager at Novomatic, Scientific Games and Aristocrat.

Interblock sees her hiring as part of a larger effort to expand the developer's footprint Latin America. As Global CEO, John Connelly, commented: “We are moving aggressively to grow our business in the Americas and having a sales expert of Galy’s type is mission-critical to accomplishing our goals in Latin America.

“We are happy to welcome her to Interblock, and we are confident our customers will find her depth and breadth of international sales knowledge to be extremely valuable to them.”

Olazo herself is keen to commence on what is a logical next step for someone of her experience: “This is an excellent opportunity for the development of my career of more than 15 years in the games and entertainment industry and I have great expectations for the growth of the brand and everything that we can achieve in the following years working together.”

She also set forth her goals as she moves into the positions: “Placing the brand in its rightful place, bringing it closer to customers and strengthen our commercial ties are a few of my main tasks.”

Interblock is a renowned developer of luxury electronic table games. It has a considerable global presence and is currently active in 258 jurisdictions.
