IGT Canada Solutions, a subsidiary of International Game Technology (IGT), has signed a five-year extension to its lottery partnership with the Manitoba Liquor and Lotteries Corporation (MBLL). Through this new agreement, IGT will provide the region with its IGT Intelligen video lottery central system.
IGT will work to upgrade the MBLL’s existing lottery system to fit with current technology, this includes improving the network’s diagnostics. The MBLL will also gain access to IGT’s iLink Ultra platform, a retailer site controller that provides increased flexibility and an updated user interface.
"With IGT's enhanced Intelligen system, MBLL can easily access insight into the status and performance of its VLT network," noted Nick Khin, IGT Senior Vice President and COO, Gaming.
"Developed to respond to the unique needs of our customers, Intelligen supports the volume, complexity and security MBLL needs to operate its thousands of VLTs located throughout the region with confidence and efficiency."
Presently, IGT already connects approximately 6,600 video lottery systems across the region. The system connects with IGT’s other offerings, including IGT Advantage.
